Dr. Amol Bhanushali

Dr. Amol Bhanushali is one of the best Thoracic Surgeons in India with over 15 years of experience. He received his training in Thoracic Surgery from illustrious institutions like Tata Memorial Hospital – Mumbai, Cedars Sinai Medical Centre – Los Angeles, USA and Medanta the Medicity – Gurgaon. He has also received training in Uniportal VATS at the Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, China and Robotic Surgery from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital – London and Duke’s University, USA.

He is the Medical Director of Dr. Bhanushali Hospital in Thane near Mumbai, where he has started a dedicated Centre for Lung Surgery, the first of its kind in the city, where he performs number of minimally invasive Thoracic procedures, especially for Tuberculosis and Lung Cancer. He is the Managing Trustee of Kaushalya Medical Foundation Trust Hospital, a 150 bedded charitable hospital in Thane. He also is the Honorary Thoracic Surgeon at the Municipal TB hospital at Sewri, Mumbai. At this hospital, he has been operating on chronic TB patients, free of cost, for the past 7 years.
